Ya, I would agree, assuming your fueling is correct, the worst thing that will happen are blown hoses/intercoolers, and cracked exh. manifold/downpipes, the darn motors just keep running assuming good maintenence.
We ran a stock MC motor through 2 seasons of NASA racing in the Super Unlimited Class, then put Motronic on it and ran it another season...amazing, this with 25 psi the whole time, and no maintenence except for oil and sparkplug changes. The car will be running next season with...you guessed it, the same motor.
The wheel bearings, however, a whole 'nother story (the car did'nt have door handles, sorry)
