that could be symptomatic of a disintegrating cat, but... you need a new
fuel pump!

yes, they are the same.  But geez, why use a 17 year old maybe pump in
your baby?  new ones are just under $200, oh maybe that's a good
reason.  A spent a few shiny coppers replacing the entire fuel tray,
bushings, pump, accumulator and filter on my 90, now I don't have to
think about it any more...
