Brake rotor replacement

After looking through the archives and Bentley I am still a little confused on 1 or 2 points. I have an 89 100 that I may replace the rotors on this weekend. From what I understand I need to remove the caliper from the strut housing to get the rotor off. If I read correctly these "one time bolts" can be reused if secured with some Loc-Tite, correct??
Now when it comes to actually removing the hub, do I have to remove the axel bolt to get the rotor off or is it simply secured to the shaft by the studs that are on the shaft. The Bentley wasn't exactly clear on it and I might have been looking at letters in the archive that pertain to a different model
