You say you pressure bled the brakes. Was this during the strut job, or
after, trying to fix the problem. You may have forced crud in the solenoid
for that wheel. Is the ABS light on? If the wheel sensor was bad, or the
reluctor wheel, the control unit should see that and set the light. The ABS
ECU can monitor any electical problems, but is blind to hydralic ones.
If there was crud in the reluctor, it would most likely throw a code,
depending on what the crud was. Dirt or grease shouldn't affect it, but a
chunk of rust could.
As a side note to anyone who reads this, anytime you do brakes on an ABS
equipped car, crack the bleeder loose when you push the piston back in the
caliper to prevent dirt and old seal material from being pushed back through
the ABS pump. Letting the brakes gravity bleed is usually sufficient to get
any air out that may have gone in through the open bleeder.
