Pikes Peak 2001 [Javad's plans]

Hey all, since this is coming up, let me resend what Gary K and I have come up with for this weekend.  I will fly into Denver Fri. morning, the getting together will likely be on Sat, read below.

Since Pikes Peak is only a few days away, I was going to post final details
tomorrow morning. I assume  your plans are still the same and you'll be
driving down from Loveland the morning of the race?  I was going to propose
meeting off I-25 South Exit 181 (Castle Rock) at 5am the morning of the race
(June 30th). I-25 is the primary route between Denver and Colorado Springs;
Pikes Peak is just southwest of Colorado Springs. We will then meet people
from Colorado Springs at a location there around 6am, and then all caravan
up Pikes Peak. The gates to Pikes Peak open at 4am;  meeting at I-25 exit
181 at 5am will put us at the gate by 6:30am. The gates are open until 8am,
but if delay, we will not be able to get to the good viewing points way up
the mountain.
Also, I think it makes sense to plan a gathering at a restaurant in Colorado
Springs after the Pikes Peak Hillclimb - about 6pm.  Hopefully, people from
Denver area who could not make the Hillclimb will come down to the Springs
to talk Audis.
