Check out this link.  http://www.motorworks.com/vw/  use the keyword search
to look for valve spring compressor.  They list it for 110.00 but it is not
available right now.  They do have the valve stem seal pliers for 27.00 and
lots of other "neat" tools for very reasonable prices.

I fabricated my own valve spring compressor for about 5.00 in parts from the
local Home Depot.  I could take pics. if you like, it was really easy.  I
also used some large needle nose pliers with an angled end to remove the
valve stem seals and a socket to install the new ones.  I placed tape over
the end of the valve stems to protect the new seals as I was pushing them
on.

The Facom tool, DM10A, is a tool  used to remove the old valve seals from
the
head while it is still attached to the block.
