Brother Larry, this is brother Avi!
In the Midwest, possibly in other areas of the country, almost all fuel
(automotive) contain alcohol....................only if it exceeds (the
blend) 10% it has to be reported/declared on the pump! So you can safely
assume that all gasoline auto fuel contain alcohol, some even (Iowa
Nebraska) contain even more alcohol, especially premium fuel!
It used to be that you could find stations that declared NO ALCHOL, but I
don't think they exist any more. I also recall that some state did or still
do mandate a minimum of alcohol in their fuels..........
Anyway that how it used to be............
You all take care now!

Our illustrious US President has determined that, in order to meet
environmental concerns, that alcohol (ethanol I think) will be added to our
fuels. I just read through the owners manual for my 200Q and it states that
alcohol blends are to be avoided. Is there anyway to determine which, if not
all alcohols will be harmful to the fuel system of our cars? (I currently do
not have access to the owner's manual to my '85 Golf GTI, which I think was
more specific.)
