Steve,
May be yes, I don't know enough (regarding internal parts, all I did is
external parts) to comment ..............but what about the thermal
insulating affect? Maybe, maybe not?
I know of no engine part, internal that has a layer on coating on it, and PC
is very thick, and can be thicker at some areas depends on:
the quality of the job!
The type of powder used!
The heat used to cure it on!
All powders are not the same..............

... seems to me that if this were a problem on the inside of the pan it
would be exactly the same on the outside ... who cares if the heat can make
it into the metal of the pan if it can't make it from there to the ambient
air!
