Rob,
This is not easy to do. For anyone with an UR-q I can easily
and cheaply copy the factory lines with Aeroquip lines. I go
down to the Boeing District to the shops that supply parts to
the Airlines and get them there for very cheap.
The question at the moment seems to be size of the line. I
started to go with -06 on the recomendation of some shops. But
now many are saying -08 to -10 is what is needed. I dont want
to go to big so I think I'll go to -08.
Also, Different Audi blocks have different thread sizes. For
Instance, a 5kt with KH block or an UR-q with WX??? uses a
smaller size than the MC block. Also, a 5ktq uses different
cooler and line shape than an earlier 5kt with a KH which is
different than an ur-q.
But like I said, if you have a ur-q then I can easily copy my
lines with Aeroquip. I believe the smaller holed blocks are
16mm x 1.5mm pitch. But the MC is larger I think. Maybe 18mm.
