extra fuel gauge

doesn't sound as good as at first might seem.  As i recall the fuel
gauge (and coolant temp) circuits "start" at the inst cluster with a 10
volt regulator (to keep them consistent), then the current flows thru
the gauge, thru the wiring, and is grounded thru the sender.

so two guages in parallel will probably screw up the voltage divider
created by the resisitance of the gauge and the sender, and using two
regs and two gauges into one sender will also.  Still, there might be a
way...
