Virus Alert

Please do not email virus warnings to the list.  While some are genuine,
the majority are false(this one however is real and has been hitting a
number of companies and news sites.)  The other problem is that every time
a new virus out there, I get at least a half dozen warnings from EACH of
the dozen mailing lists I belong to.  Do the math.  It is -incredibly-
annoying.

I'm sure Dan will email the list if he feels the list can't get this
information from other sources(you'll note that this list is 
for discussion of all things Audi, not email; we all use email and
computers, don't we, but we also all wear underwear...and you don't see
people emailing questions asking "boxers or briefs?", now do
you?)  Considering most major news websites and TV news programs are all
over it like flies on a dead horse, I fail to see why I need to get
bombarded with yet another warning from a non-computer mailing list, thank
you.

It should also be noted that the list server has virus software installed
and it's been very effective since then.
