215 on a sedan (is the 4kq any different?)

While this thread is running...
I've got a set of rather nice Ronal 4x108 16x 7.5" ET35 rims that I want to
put on my 4ktq.  I'm in debate over what size tires to put on it.  I'd
really like to put a 215 on there.. and Jim, if you can fit them on your 89
90q I would imagine it would be almost identical in fitment to the 4kq as
the available dimensions are the same correct?  So should I be ok with a 215
40 16? or should I more realistically look at something along the lines of a
205 45 16?

These wheels currently have 205 55 16 but I put them on the car just for fun
to see if it would work.. tons of rubbing going over bumps.. not suprising
do to the large diameter!
