maybe - does it go infinite at further throttle opening?  it may just be
misadjusted if so.

no, that's the WOT switch (should close at about 60% - Bentley says - of
throttle opening).  The idle switch is hidden underneath the throttle
body.

no.  they share a connector.  Pin 2 is power, 1 is idle sw connection, 3
is WOT sw. conn.
