Salesman did car early this afternoon, offered me $1,500 more trade-in on my
91-100. (After I told him I just had it inspected).

Well, I don't know. Kelly's Blue Book sez $11,320 tops retail for this car
and low mileage.
Edmonds shows lower retail, about $9700 with the low mileage.

The 93's higher maintenance costs is one consideration. T-belt replacement
on the I-5 is about $150.00. 60K service was about $275, including
transmission filter/oil and brake fluid change.

>91-100, 87K, fresh inspection, paid for. At this time, the little PITA
quirks don't seem too bad...

But wait!! There's more!! Tonight, just as I was leaving the supermarket
parking lot. Three teens in a brand new Mustang come flying around the
corner and whammmm! I'm saying to myself "He's not gonna hit me...think
I'll pull ahead just in case". Too late, whammm. AAAGGGGHHH. He got me in
the left rear wheel and scuffed the bumper guard next to the wheel. Put one
hell of a crease in his nice green metallic bumper. I wasn't pissed, I mean
what the hell can you do? Kid doesn't want to jack up his insurance, sez he
pays over $385 per month for insurance, plus the payments on the beautiful
Mustang, so he offered to pay me cash whatever to fix my car. Wonder what
part-time work the kid does??

GGGRRRRRR.

Think, I'll sleep on it.

Ed. Birch.....91-100 with some scuff marks.
