Windshield Wipers

Earlier in the week I posted that my wiper motor was working on my
95A6QA but that the wipers weren't moving. Two people responded advising
me to tighten the nuts on the wiper arms. This turned out not to be the
problem. What had happened was that the nut on top of the wiper motor
that attached the control rods to the wiper motor had come off. Now that
I have reattached it the wipers work, but I can't seem to get the wipers
to end up in the right place. When I turn them off, they go to the
bottom and then come up a few inches before stopping. I have
disconnected the nut and turned the wipers on and off so that the lever
could stop where it wanted to and then reattached the nut, but I still
can't get it exactly where it needs to be. Any BTDTs on this or the
position of the lever on top of the wiper motor at rest?
