S. on i-5 in l.a. last night saw a car carrier full of WRX's. I was on my 
way back from epic snowboarding and quattro action.  I liked the blue wagon 
(sans flares); but for 3k my ol' 5ktq is still a great car.

Comfy in high winds, snow, sleet, downpour--beautiful lightning bolts across 
the Sierras in the Owens Valley, sunset behind Mt. Whitney; Ella Fitzgerald 
filling the air. 300 mi. in 4hr 40min; avg. spd 64; 33 mpg (9k ft. to see 
level helped out on that stat!)

Get your quattros to the Eastern Sierras, you'll be glad you did.
