Passat 4 Motion

The "new" sedans are here in downstate NY. They have GLS V-6 and GLX (V-6
by default) sedans, both in 5 sp and Tiptronic trim. Have noted that
Tiptronic on the VW's is on the shift lever only, no buttons or paddles
behind the wheel. The car does look more sophisticated and upscale, they
add chrome in the right places and the car's appearance moves decidely
upmarket. According to AW, the dynamics are improved over the past model,
and they (as well as many others) liked the Passats driving dynamics
already (for a sporty family sedan/wagon), not in direct competition to
the A4, 3 series, C-series and, and, uh Maxima(?).
