I have no complaints about reception. I get very, very good reception with
mine, and I have _never_ replaced a rear windshield on a car (much less
replacing one on a regular basis... I can't imagine what would make that a
necessity).
Just as important is how the car looks. I think cars without an antenna have
a sleeker look than those with them, personally, but it seems subjective.
