86' CGT coolant reservior switch

Hello Fans,

This may sound really crazy. It's pretty embarrassing, especially when I have 
a Bentley's for help. How do I disconnect this switch? It seems to spin 
without any feel for release. I'm in the process of replacing the reservoir. 
Any help?
