Hi all,
I am getting ready to replace the head on a 87 4kcsq (engine type JT) that
was severely overheated. While I am at it I am goin to do a basic tune up.
Here are the parts that I am getting ready to order.

a) part # 035 198 012n head gasket set us$64.70
b) part # 035 109 119 timing belt us$ 7.28
c) part # 857 121 403 expansion tank us$50.99
d) part # 035 121 043 water pump O-Ring us$ 0.51
e) part # 035 121 004a water pump us$29.15
f) part # 03-239 distributer cap us$17.65
g) part # wr7dc Bosch Spark Plugs us$ 1.16(ea)
h) part # 04 139 ignition rotor us$ 4.24
i) part # 069 129 620 Air Filter Element us$ 5.06
j) part # 09 500 Bosch Wire Set us$46.28
k) used head, I am going to take it to a shop and have it checked to ensure
it is straight, also I will have new exhaust manifold studs installed.
l)have exhaust manifold checked to ensure it is straight, have planed if
necessary.
m)I have been told that I will be able to borrow the special tool needed for
doing a timing belt change.

My questions are:

1)Am I remembering everything needed or are there other parts I should
replace at the same time?

2)Am I ordering the correct part numbers for my car? I do not have access to
the family album so I have no way of checking to ensure I have the right
part #s.

3)Do the prices quoted seem right? Can I find these same parts cheaper? I
found these prices at http://www.thepartsbin.com

TIA,
tom
