1/4 DIN Size = ? x ?

    I am slightly confused as to what 1/4 DIN equates to in the real
measurement world.  I am thinking of fitting a Blitz turbo timer that has a
digital boost gauge in it for my turbo project.  I really don't want to deal
with lots of gauges all over the interior and I have a nice extra "hole" in
the console switch line in the dash.  I hope I can cram that timer/gauge in
there and be done with it.
