WTB and a question

Well, our 93 land cruiser sold today.  The new owner will be pic king her up
in a month, and I get married the following weekend, so I'll be in the
market for a Quattro on or about May 13th.  I'm looking for an A4, 97 or
later, pearl white with light tan/ivory interior, 5 speed or triptronic,
sunroof, rear wing, less than 50K from the South east, and with an
unblemished past.  Would prefer to buy from a lister, but I've found some
good ebay deals.

Question I have is: what is the difference, besides displacement and the
fact that the 1.8 has a turbo, between the two motors?  They make almost the
same power and get close to the same gas mileage.  Which one should I be
looking for?
