Audio upgrades for '93 100csq avant

My wife really likes the new urS4 I picked up last week. Problem is, now
she's upset that the sound system in her car is as weak as it is. Not that
the S4's system is the greatest its good enough for me, and far nicer than
what's in the wagon (none-BOSE delta head, no CD changer).

I'm looking for upgrade ideas which:
a) improve sound quality--we're no audiophiles, but a deeper fuller sound
would be nice.
b) Cd capabilities in any form (in-dash, changer, RF changer)
c) Preserve as much of the original Audi look as possible.

Ideas?

Also (for those in the Twin City area) do you have any shops you've worked
with that you would recommend for this type of work.
