musings and condenser cleaner

Went to VAG/Porsche dealer yesterday to buy hyd fluid.  Why does this simple 
transaction take 25 minutes?  Confusing.

They had a silver s8 and 2 allroads gathering dust.  I saw a 1.8t w/sport 
package: the new 17" sport pkg wheels are much cooler than the s4's wheels, 
IMO. The new Passats are, visually, much more impressive than the a4's or 
a6's, IMO.  I can see why Piech wants to change their platform strategy.

There was a guy with a hammer whacking the hardtop of a 911 cabriolet. I'll 
assume he was fixing a dent and not adding one.  I was dressed in an old 
crappy shirt, old crappy shorts and old crappy sneakers.  As I read the 
sticker on a Boxster a salesman asked if I had any Porsche questions.  Yes, 
can I have one please? (normally profiling angers me, but clearly this 
saleman had the wrong guy).

Does anyone have any btdt's with a cc system/evaporator cleaner called DWD2 
(www.dwd2.com)?  I suffer from allergies and occasional sinus infections, so 
I was attracted to the brochure copy.  Snake oil?  My '87 5kcstq I'm sure 
has never had it cleaned, but then again does it really need to be?
