Friends of the Mount Washington Hillclimb, Maryanne just heard last night
that the Great Glen Outdoor Center (the "new" lodge) suffered a propane
explosion & burned to the ground last Friday morning. Staff & any pets
on-site were uninjured.

lived on site).

Howie Weymyss & crew are working on next moves & Gert Gove is recovering
auto hillclimb info that is lost.
Even if you're not a motorsports fan, this is a significant loss to a major
recreation facility in NH.
