Dealer Experiences (was RE: #1275 - Profiling!)

Ha!

I went to a BMW Dealer with my roommate. Herb Chambers BMW on Comm. Ave in
Brighton, MA.

1) No attention - had to have the receptionist page a saleman from the group
where they were chatting, this was after maybe
   15min.
2) Salesman stated there were "No cars to test drive"
3) Salesman started rambling on about smoking pot and women's breasts.  Not
that I'm against either, it was just a *smidge*
   inappropriate.
4) He took both of our names, phonenumbers, and email addresses, promising
to get in touch.  It's been a little less than a
   year, and I don't think we'll be hearing from him.

The roommate ended up buying a 2000 Volvo s80 2.9

The most positive experience I've had was at the Volvo dealer.  No pressure,
no BS, and our salesman came to us, not the other way around.  This one was
Boston Volvo Village.
