        My mom has one of those.  It did the same thing so I think it's that
the tranny is just bad.  I think it's a poorly designed car in general.
Poorly balanced car, bad 3.1L, low powered gas guzzler.  IMHO You should
dump it and get a VW.  I think I told you about my Jetta once (burnt pistons
and all), it still runs and quick to.   Just make sure it's a Wolfsburg
built one, and not a Pueblo built one.  Don't change your driving habits,
just drive something that's cheaper to fix.
