Well, there certainly a lot more rotating hardware attached to the gears
while you shift, so I would expect a bit more effort to get the syncros
to dis/engage (or something like that), but the motion required of the
lever should be fairly slop free and precise, generally similar to a
2wd, I would expect.

There is a 4kq tranny lying out in my field, maybe I should snap some
photos and put little colored arrows on all the possible wear points of
the linkage.
