4KQ Front Suspension Help Needed!

I have a similar clunking noise in my '85 cq, but mine occurs only when I
turn right while moving...
I'm assuming this means it is due to weight transfer, and I have a feeling
that it's due to a spring mislignment, from when I installed new shocks few
weeks ago.

Another small issue, since installing the new shocks, the front of the car
has raised a little...
These are gas shocks which self-extend if left unloaded, is the extra height
due to the internal pressure?
Do i need to look at sport springs to bring this back down to stock level
(or a little lower)...

cheers
