engine mods

nosing around the internet i have noticed lots of cgt's with crossflow heads
(ie inlet on one side, exhaust on other).  what engine is this????  is this
the 20v fitted into a cgt, or just the 2.3?????  and who on the list has
done the 20 v conversion who would like to detail the job (ie mods) , thanks
