Hi listers.
I have finished almost everything under hood of my new 200tqw '89. Runs
very well. With smaller turbo it riches 1.4 bar much faster than my
200tq '89 sedan with bigger turbo(still can't remember which is K24 and
K26).
But suspension leaves much to be desired. Besides tie rods ends, rear
control arms and all kind of bushings I have to replace shocks and,
maybe, rear springs. This area is new to me and I am pretty ignorant
in it. Digging in archives I came to BOGE turbo gas or pro gas for
front and I found only Blau shocks for rear.
My qustion here is about springs:
- what are the sympthoms for bad springs?
- what springs are good with BOGE turbo gas shocks?
- can I have different setups in front and rear?
That's all for beginning
Thank you very much.
Konstantin Bogach.
