Um, I'm not sure about that, but my mechanic friend at the local BMW place 
drove a brand new (2,000 mi.) customer Z8 at over 120mph with one of the 
place in a bag temp. tags. - to make a long story short, the plate bounced on 
the rear of the car from buffeting, and they had to repaint the entire rear 
of the car.  I'm not certain if they told the owner of the incident.
