Are 4kq speedo heads repairable?

I think the original message of this thread was about 4kq speedo heads being
repairable.  I can say that I was able to fix the odomoter on my speedo/odo
cluster.  There is a large metal gear that is on the shaft with the
odometer.  The gear was slipping.  With some help of some super glue and
extreme luck I was able to fix the odometer and not glue anything else.
Then of course I didn't pay attention to how much tension was on the speedo
needle when replacing it so now my speedo isn't accurate...lol
