My theory tends to be a bad wheel as the culprit...but why would it not shake during acceleration periods? Any help would be appreciated.
You may have some bushing or fitting in the front end that is loose or
worn, and under certain conditions it oscillates. Under acceleration it
gets pushed into a stable position so it doesn't.
