I saw an interesting item in Herrington's the Enthusiasts catalog. It 
says:"...improve your investment with Wheel Shields. Extremely lightweight, 
aircraft aluminum disks snap inside your wheels (not on the wheel hub) just 
like an inner hubcap. Because the function like a hubcap, Wheel Shields have 
no effect whatsoever on break performance. And because they are 
self-centering when snapped in place, Wheel Shields obviously have no effect 
on wheel balance. But they will affect your car's appearance." It goes on to 
say how good your wheels will look and how these shields were tested, 
certified and approved by the stringent German TUV.

Anyone hear of these?
