Debra:

Unfortunately I think Audi has some work to do. There are a couple of new
Audis in my area. Run into them at the grocery store, etc. The owners are
NOT happy campers. One couple leased. They can't wait until their lease is
up. Wish I had leased. There is a new TT in town. When I asked the owners
if they have had any problems with it, they said, "No." I asked them how
long they had owned it. They replied, "three weeks." I spared them my
history but quickly disqualified them from my survey. :+)

I forgot to mention that I had my glove box door replaced (bad latch) and
the security cover for the rear has been replaced. Currently my brake light
is on (as of last night). I just had a brake job two thousand miles ago.
The brake fluid was a little low. I filled it up but the light is still on.
Both keys are broken.

I hope that you think twice before getting an Audi for your mom. They are
beautiful, for sure, but not worth the problems. I have lost all faith in
my car. I'm checking out a Toyota Highlander, but I'm sure that I am upside
down in my loan. I'm thinking that it may be worth tacking it on to a
Toyota. At least it'll be around even after I over pay for it.<sigh>
