Allow me to issue another counterpoint. I've only had my car going on a
year (since July 5th of 2000), but I already have almost 23k on it. The
driver's side window has had one odd problem (occasionally when going
auto-up it stops and rolls back down partway... go figure). The HVAC
blower fan makes a very small squeaking noise when on low, which sounds
sorta like your S4 problem.

That's it. The car is performing beautifully with no shop time.
