are 4k and CGT same from front doors forward??

Yes, they are the same (BTDT w/ my '86 Comm Ed CGT and a 4k parts donor). The "aero" style lights started in '85. I too need some parts for mine (hood and passenger side door), but its the optional graphite metallic, not alpine white. My front seats are also shot, and I have had a hell of a time finding another car w/ the red interior for donor parts. HTH.
