Hi, Debra:

First of all, I'm sorry that you've had so many problems. I can recall your
enthusiasm when you first bought the car.

Second, I've heard of VERY few instances in the last 10-12 years of someone
having so many problems with an Audi. (I've put nearly 400,000 miles on
Audis and have had virtually no problems whatsoever.)

Third, California has one of the nation's stronger lemon laws. It may be
WAY too late to seek this protection, altho Audi clearly seems to
acknowledge some degree of liability with its offer to extend your warranty.

Fourth, if you have not yet accepted that offer (that is, signed on the
proverbial dotted line), and if you're willing to put up with still more BS,
you may want to consider invoking the lemon law. This MAY allow you a
substantial refund or the offer of another car at a deep discount.

In any event, good luck.
