the truck is in the garage while i do it's birthday refurbishment.
(christine will be 5 years in my care next month, and 10.5 years old).

lots of little things getting done, and some big things, anyway...

rang up the dealer looking for a new seat "end piece" (the plastic cap for
the seat).  $14.  ok.  how about a set of 3 locating dowels (the little
plastic 1cm x 3mm dowels which lock the end piece in place)?  $70 he says.
ha, ha i say, very funny.  what is the real price?

it turns out that the plastic bolt for the tank liner is $50.  you get 2
bolts for that though....
