Replace thermostat. A faulty thermostat usually holds open all the time, as a
safety measure.

Bigger alloys (16", 17", 18") will give you more grip on road, but somewhat
less comfort. I've found that the comfort on 17" isnt too bad anyway, and the
grip going through turns is fantastic :-)
