Quattro Club Event - Second Creek Raceway (Denver)

Yes, John is awesome at Second Creek. He is so smooth through the turns. I
was doing the charge the corners, abuse your brakes, lose a lot of speed
routine, while he was just maintaining his speed through the corners. I
think I'm going to paste the phrase "slow in, fast out" to my dashboard!
I think with competition tires like on John's A4 our times would have been
equivalent, but he could definitely be even quicker in my car.

I was a bit nervous passing Gary Bergman, wary of accidentally clipping his
beautiful UrQ. He too is a remarkably smooth driver, rumor has it he's
driven F1 cars.

Flushed my front brake fluid and they're still spongy. Going to put some new
pads in and swap the master cylinder (only $45). Hope I didn't overheat
those new Porsche calipers. I also flat spotted two old P7000's "testing"
the brakes. Better worn-out street tires than new Hoosiers!

Gary
