VW intermittent wiper relay

Andrew, the method of control is thus:
Turn wiper stalk to intermittent position.
Turn it off.
Wait until the windshield needs a swipe with the wiper.
Turn the stalk back to the intermittent position.
The interval between the time you turned it off and then back on is now the
interval between succeeding sweeps of the wiper. There are limits beyond
which it will not go. For example you will find that you will not be able
to set, say, a five minute interval - too long.
There is nothing else needed to control the interval. It's built into the
relay circuitry.
