Steering/suspension clunk

Speaking of subframe bushings, I just passed a rusty American POS nosed into
a driveway at the bottom of our hill. A pair of feet were sticking out from
under the car. The SO was squatting beside the car peering underneath. The
front subframe was lying on the ground in a widening pool of engine fluids.
The mounts and the bolts sticking up from them were clearly visible.
I don't think he's driving it anywhere soon.
Take care of your subframe mounts and they'll take care of you :o)
A little rust prevention probably helps too.
