Need Help desparately. A6 won't run.

Brian-
Thanks for my one and only response. I had the timing belt replaced
12,000 miles ago. I did take your advise and removed the plugs and
squirted some oil in the cylinders. I was able to start but it feels
like its running on 4 cyls. Then the red oil light comes on so I shut it
down. Any advice from anyone else out there.
