The Brembo rotors I had (Italian made) first started
to discolor. The kodachrome look like when you heat
treat steel. Then the surfaces became covered with
small surface cracks (crazing?). Then the layers of
metal started to peel off. They never really warped,
but still disconcerting. They only lasted 10-20k and
they were toast. No track time, but I'm a really hard
braker for street driving. Anything not battened down
ends up flying about. So far so good with the Ate and
Zimmerman rotors.
