I have a 2000 A6 2.7TQ, though manual trans, and it has nearly 35k miles on
it. Really, no significant problems at all yet (a few niggling things that
I'll get done when I'm not so lazy).

Some of the biturbo 2.7s had turbo failures (both S4 and A6) early on in
life. Knock on electrons, no problems here. I haven't made any performance
modifications yet, because it still under warranty.
