Type 44: Right side rear lower than left.

Folks,
A couple months ago, I believe there was a thread regarding why a lister's
type 44 was about an inch lower at its right-rear compared to the left
side. There wasn't much explanation on this, but I would like to resurrect
this topic, as I noticed that my 1990 200q is also 1-1.25" lower on the
right side as well.
:-\
I had first thought it was caused by worn trapezoid arm bushings, which
the right side of mine needed. But I finished this swap last month with
Rod's help at TPC. BTW, I did the job without a 20-ton arbor press! I
bought a $39 ball joint extractor kit from Harbor Freight, which seemed as
if it was made for installing the trap arms' inner bushing! Similar in
principle to Huw's ingenious DIY pipe cap press, but for us too lazy to
fabricate one, this kit is perfect.
(Those interested in my procedure can email me.)
Well, with brand new Boge bushings, the clunking and squeaking was gone.
But the car still sat listing to the right. My 200q also received new
Turbogas shocks this summer, and they were installed correctly. Springs
weren't damaged, and linkages look straight, not bent.
I know the gas tank is located on the right side, but even when I run the
tank down to 3 gallons, it still looks lop-sided.
Any other 5ktq, 200q owners have this condition?
