Brake odds and ends I'm not familiar with.

You know, that is what I thought.
However, this is what confused me:
There is a brake limit indicator on the shoes that I
have on my car right now. The shoes aren't passed the
indicator, but I measured the thickness from the wear
marking of the indicator and where the friction lining
material attaches to the metal strip. Less then 2mm,
however, if I included the width of the metal strip,
2mm on the dot.
