Speaking of the bumper attachment... (type 44)

    I fixed this on a coupe gt if it helps...I used POR-15  (a rust proofing
paint). First was removing the bumper and trim then I sanded down the three
rusted spots where the trim fastened to the drivers side rear. Coated with
POR-15 topped with PPG acrylic enamel primer and paint. The paint was that
charcoal metalic color so blending in the metal flakes to the rest of the
panel was the most difficult. In the end, I couldn't tell it had been
repaired nor could the buyer when I told him. Lasted through a winter with
great results then I sold the car for a 200. I already had the paint gun and
compressor so paint and sanding supplies cost about $100. I had enough left
over to do two other cars...
